Seeing dead people in your dreams.

I had a dream the other night and in it was my cousin that passed away a few years back, the funny thing is everything was normal in the dream and it was only when I awoke that I obviously knew he was passed away. Why wasn't I aware that he was dead in the dream? Have any of you ever seen a passed one in a dream, Did you know they were really dead or was you like me unaware until you awoke? If you were aware that they were really dead, did you ask them questions, as in where are they now? I've never heard of anyone saying that they seen a dead loved one in a dream and that they talked to them, have you?

Apparently when we dream its like a portal to the world of spirit and where we can connect with loved ones.
Sometimes there can be messages in these dreams try to remember them :)

Saw a passed good friend in a dream just this week. He has been gone four years and I still think of him often.

I thought in the dream, hold on you are dead, but it didn't seem to matter as much as I would have expected.

My focus moved to other parts of the dream.

I've never been contacted by anyone or had hidden messages in dreams zzxxee, actually couldn't looking for hidden messages in every dream send you a little loopy? And what happens to those that don't dream? Aren't their loved ones trying to contact them too?
Have you seen a lost one and was aware they were really dead zxxee?

yes my cousin who passed on in 2001 was in a dream, i just said your dead why are you here ?
he said " i know i'm dead you daft cow just wanted to tell you i,m ok and your arse is getting big, lay off the pasta sauces and chocolates" laughed his head off and walked away !!!!!!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago I had a dream that my cousins husband was alive and well. Sadly he passed away at the beginning of this year after an attack of pneumonia.

but not so for me i'm afraid i firmly believe in the world of spirit but not in a religious sense !!!!

Did it freak you out zxxee? I thought that maybe no one was aware that a dead person was dead in a dream because of maybe the brains defense mechanism to maybe protect us from being startled or frightened, but obviously it does happen.

I often dream of my dead mother and father (less) and in the dream they are completely alive and actually she's always rather cross with me about something or other!

i believe when we pass on we go to the world of spirit ,and as we grow in the spirit world learning from mistakes we did on earth the stronger we become.
We choose to reincarnate or stay to guide loved ones who are alive on the earthly plane. Many spirits who are strong have the gift of manifistation and can talk through clairvoyants or can contact people who are clairaudient or clairsentient
Maybe people think im barking it is indeed their right , but it feels right for me and what i believe .

When I was pregnant with my oldest son I was convinced he was a girl. I had a dream that my Grandad was sitting on the end of my trying to convince me it was a boy. It seemed so real...

I dream regularly of a dead person and he's alive in my dream.I put it down to the fact that I havent accepted it in my subconcious.
