I have received a message on my iPad saying it hasnt been set up. It’s quite old and been used over and over. It says that the owner has used find my phone (I haven’t). To link it to their Apple ID. It’s asking for my details. (ID and password) to set the activation lock. Help and advice please

bobbie, did you get to talk to anybody?
Have you tried connecting it to the computer?

It may have crashed and got confused.

You could also change your apple id password then try logging in to the first iPad.
To find the model number, look on the back of the ipad - usually starts with an A

I looked on the back There’s no pad number, just 16 gb and a number beginning withPCX I couldn’t do the Apple chat because there is no model number on the back You have all been so helpful and I really appreciate it. I could put my password in maybe get in and change it
