Just Got A Call

From someone pretending from Amazon about amazon prime .Okay lots gets this call .As someone who once I have to admit it I
fell for another scam . After today’s call I’m sitting here thinking the person who made the call was up for stealing money from me ,a person they don’t know ,I could be in great difficulties and their action could have had a severe effect on me .I know the stock answer usually is they don’t care I accept that but let’s dig deeper what made them like this .Need ,greed ,power ,impressing others they had lost their morals ,forced into it .something made them do it . what do we thing ?

I have a call blocker phone and get no junk calls at all, so no scams. Well worth the investment.

It could just be someone desperately in need of a job working for someone who is greedy etc.

Many of them are just doing a job they are paid for I'd assumed and don't care about what they are actually dong - like the well spoken woman who regularly calls me to discuss my recent but non-existent car accident.

There's a surprisingly high proportion of people with no morals whatsoever.
They think nothing of taking what isn't theirs, but would be furious if someone did the same to their property.
I despise them.

But with the technology needed it would not be individuals so those setting this up are doing it intentionally and getting others ,family maybe to do this .So no goverments in the world seem to be doing anything about it ,should we be asking what we can do to help people who steal to order for others .

The people calling you are not making huge amounts of money, they are being employed and probably have to do this job to keep food on the table. Yes, it's wrong, but don't directly blame the caller themselves, some will have very little idea about the impact of what they are doing, as English will not be their first language. Others won't care as they are getting a paycheck, and probably think if you are thick enough to believe it you deserve it ( their thoughts not mine).

what is happening to society .The world needs to get back to being decent again . Pipe dream aye but there are millions of good people being denied decency .What can be done ?

I have challenged scammers when I get a real person, reminding them it could be their elderly relatives the person on the next line could be targetting. I tend to hang up after cursing them, nothing major, just toothaches and boils

their main immediate thought is
if I dont hook this guy quickly, I am wasting time I cd spend hooking someone else

I have been cloned three times and one time the card was used at a shop that knows me. I have no sympathy

Quite agree. Scammed only a few days ago. Bank was great but it does make me think whether I should answer unknown calls or even buy off the net.

the world was never decent. There were always thives, conmen, muggers and so on...they just find new ways of doing it.
