Calls To Mobile Phone

Over the last week or so I have had several calls to my mobile phone from numbers very similar to my own - just a change in the last 2 or 3 digits - e.g 07888 888 236 instead 07888 888 123. I am assuming it is a scam of some sort with the actual phone number changed to appear the way it does.

Anyone else had anything similar?

Yes, I had one, almost my number except for the last two digits, saying my national insurance number had been compromised. Scam, I didn't press any buttons. Reported it straight away.
