Yes - I had this one a couple of years back:

Moniba 25 years old girl from Liberia,the daughter of Late Dr. Harry F. Moniba the former vice president of the Republic of Liberia and standard bearer of the Liberian National Union ,My father was died by car crash on Wendsday night, November 24,2004 while he was traveling from Jackson, Michigan to Ohio (USA). . I am constrained to contact you because of the maltreatment I, m receiving from my step mother. She planned to take away all my late father's treasury and properties from me since the unexpected death of my beloved Father.Meanwhile I wanted to escape to the Europe but she hide away my international passport and other valuable travelling documents.
Luckily she did not discover where I kept my fathers File which contains important documents. So I decided to run to the refegee camp where I am presently

I sent a reply saying "I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night!!"

The humour was obviously lost, as I then got a further one in the same vein.

By the way, I also love the 419 site.

When I used to chat on Yahoo, I'd get loads of Nigerians randomly messaging me.

The chat script was always the same, they would ask my ASL (age, sex, location) as soon as I said the UK, they would start with all the pledging undying love for me. It was hilarious.

At times I would humour them and inevitably, they would ask me to get them a Visa to visit the UK and ask for money, as their elderly mother was dying and needed medical care.

Unfortunately, there are still many who fall for this flim flam.

Ha - I have now contacted Mr Suleman Ibrahim and he has told me the full story.

I have now sent him over �6000 in legal fees but he will be sending me my 40% share any time now.
