Would you be in favour of a Team GB
for the football in the the 2012 Olympics, it was on news earlier. Wonder if anyone had any thoughts.

I'm not in favour of a Team GB, nor any other team.
The Olympics is a celebration of sporting excellence. Football is a ridiculous display of petulant gamesmanship, and deliberate cheating.
(the above does not apply to Brighton and Hove Albion)

The Olympics should be the pinnacle of that particular sport's achievement, i.e. track and field events. Sports like football and tennis which have their own pinnacles, The World Cup or Grand Slam events should not be allowed to compete.
I also believe that if you can't time it or measure but award points for artistic accomplishment or whatever it it's not a sport...
