First wigan yesterday, now qpr. Blatantly offside goals.the chap sent off will get his red card rescinded. And the officials will apologise so that will comfort the relegated team and compensate for the £30,000,000 that will cost them. T V umpires required urgently
one day a club will sue the officials for negligence and players will be retrospectively carded for cheating (Ashley Young - even Gary Neville just said he dived)
Those were not "honest" mistakes they were incompetence and in other professions, and football officials are now professional, those guilty of incompetence do get sued
TV Commentators don't help crying 'penalty' for every 'fall over' in the box. Oh for 70's football when a player scored through skill and standing on his feet rather than diving over and conning Ref's. Bring on a European League-some of our teams would really be shown up for what they are-and I'm not talking about world beaters.
I don't want to come over all, "When I were a lad", but if I had dived when I was playing I would have had a major b*ll*cking from my team mates, never mind the opposition. Similarly, my memories of attedning Irish League, Scottish and English football in the Seventies and Eighties is mostly free from play-acting. It is hard to believe we have reverted so far and accepted this cheating, because that is exactly what is it, as part of the modern game.
What gets me now is penalties are justified because of "contact"..What a load of c rap..They even fall over if they feel the slightest touch.
Spoiling the game.
Another pet hate of mone, as often espoused by Hansen and other overpaid gobsh1tes paid to give their views/state the blindingly obvious on television - "It was too early to give a penalty/send a man off". What utter nonsense! If it is a penalty or a sending off then the time is completely irrelevant.
