Chelsea - The Biggest Fa Cup Upset Ever?
Well, wasn't that just hilarious? The Chavs 2-0 up at home, seemingly cruising along and then bang! 4-2 to Bradford! Got to be the biggest upset of all time? So much for all that talk of a quadruple! And with Spuds, Citeh, and Saints all going out as well, just a great day for the cup.

Giving results away in a title is unfair.... but avoiding all media and going onto a Question and Answer site... just makes me laugh.

a look at this says it all -

look how many of the usual premier league players don't feature in the FA cup.
the FA cup is, to some of the big teams, just a distraction, just an opportunity for expensive assets to get injured. mourinho said losing to Bradford would be a disgrace, but he didn't exactly try very hard.

Ahem (Yes, I am a Yeovil Town fan). If I may...

Yeovil then were the equivalent of the division below the Conference North and Conference South (8th tier) AND part-timers. Sunderland were Division 1, and the Chelsea/Manchester City of their day. They'd just spent £250,000 on Len Shackelton, and were known as the "Bank of England team." Back then Yeovil had their famous sloping pitch. Pity Yeovil got stuffed 8 - 0 by Manchester United (At Maine Road) in the next round...

Do people really wait for MOTD to get the results?
As for FA Cup shocks, I'm not really suprised by any of the results, all that talk about the romance of the FA Cup disappeared years ago.
Blackburn v Swansea earlier was watched by a crowd of 6000
Managers in the top 6 aren't bothered about the FA Cup, it's all about winning the league or next best thing a top 4 finish
Ken, some bookies are offering odds of 6/1 that Wenger wears a coat for tomorrows game!

People tend to blame United for pulling out of the FA.. cup in 2000 which cased its less romantic feel, (Cup holders at the time) however it were the English FA... that forced United into the 'World club championship' after winning the Trebble in 99. IMO the FA cup is still vital to English football.
