Well, wasn't that just hilarious? The Chavs 2-0 up at home, seemingly cruising along and then bang! 4-2 to Bradford! Got to be the biggest upset of all time? So much for all that talk of a quadruple! And with Spuds, Citeh, and Saints all going out as well, just a great day for the cup.

Giving results away in a title is unfair.... but avoiding all media and going onto a Question and Answer site... just makes me laugh.

a look at this says it all -
http://www.chelseafc.com/teams/first-team.html
look how many of the usual premier league players don't feature in the FA cup.
the FA cup is, to some of the big teams, just a distraction, just an opportunity for expensive assets to get injured. mourinho said losing to Bradford would be a disgrace, but he didn't exactly try very hard.
@grumpy.....that'll be the ungracious little git that went into the Bradford City dressing room to congratulate each player individually?
Certainly not biggest shock ever - League 1 team with recent good cup pedigree beats bunch of Premier League reserves.
Not exactly 1992 - fourth league tier team Wrexham beats Arsenal , or previous occasions where first tier teams have been beaten by non-leaguers (Sutton v Coventry)
Want to watch MOTD without knowing the results?

Steer clear of TV news, radio news, and the internet

It ain't rocket science

How about the pub, joeluke?
Wasting your time DT - I've been trying for years to ask people to respect others in this regard - doesn't take much nous to write a header without spoiling it for others.
Ahem (Yes, I am a Yeovil Town fan). If I may...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeovil_Town_v_Sunderland_(1949)

Yeovil then were the equivalent of the division below the Conference North and Conference South (8th tier) AND part-timers. Sunderland were Division 1, and the Chelsea/Manchester City of their day. They'd just spent £250,000 on Len Shackelton, and were known as the "Bank of England team." Back then Yeovil had their famous sloping pitch. Pity Yeovil got stuffed 8 - 0 by Manchester United (At Maine Road) in the next round...
That is true, Mamya, but I think the dam was always going to breached early on.....
1972 Hereford Utd 2 Newcastle Utd 1
1933 Walsall 2 Arsenal 0

I think the result could well be the biggest shock when you consider Chavski were at home and 2-0 up!
I agree with you Mamya, however the best answer stands.
Do people really wait for MOTD to get the results?

As for FA Cup shocks, I'm not really suprised by any of the results, all that talk about the romance of the FA Cup disappeared years ago.

Blackburn v Swansea earlier was watched by a crowd of 6000

Managers in the top 6 aren't bothered about the FA Cup, it's all about winning the league or next best thing a top 4 finish

Ken, some bookies are offering odds of 6/1 that Wenger wears a coat for tomorrows game!
If it means that much, surely you would avoid ALL media?
People tend to blame United for pulling out of the FA.. cup in 2000 which cased its less romantic feel, (Cup holders at the time) however it were the English FA... that forced United into the 'World club championship' after winning the Trebble in 99. IMO the FA cup is still vital to English football.
IMO the FA cup is still vital to English football.

Of course it is, Arksided. It's results like todays that make it so.
Yes Paul apparently he did congratulate each player as was said by Phil Parkinson on MOTD but why does he have to prattle on with a load of unintelligble rubbish when just a few words would do.
Dundee FC won today - yay!!
Giving the result obviously bothers some of us. So instead of telling us we can't avoid the results all day or we should avoid AB, why not just stop putting the result in the OP. Even the thickest people should be able to work that out.
Why are Chelsea called chavs? Would have thought it was too expensive for chavs to live there!
If I stay in I like to not know the results, it does make MOTD more enjoyable.
That said I know there is a risk of getting to know some results if I go on the WWW.

I've emailed the BBC, AOL.....etc, ect to not put out the results untill I have watched MOTD. Fingers crossed!
