Today We Were Relegated, Sob, Sob.......................................
....................but Danny Ings' goal earned me £75. So, a bitter-sweet day and no doubt we will grace the grounds of the mega-rich again, in the (hopefully) none too distant future.

Ah, Burnley..... David Cameron's favourite team?

A shame actually, 'cos we has some good results against some of the big teams ..... 1-1 away to Chelsea and beat Man City at home; yet we had some poor results against teams which we should have beat .... 2-0 up at home to Crystal Palace (I think it was Palace) and we lost 3-2 and the other week we lost at home to Leicester .... just not consistent enough.
On the plus side, we get the chance to beat the bas**ds again next season (Blackburn Rovers to the rest of ya).

Was going to give Gizmonster best answer, as a fellow sufferer, but Talbot's witty answer takes it. And it's a coincidence that Cameron's - ahem - 'real' team, Aston Villa, once issued a video commemorating something or other (their centenary, maybe) and the people who were commissioned to produce the video's cover made a monumental gaffe - they used a picture of the Burnley Division One Champions from the 1959-60 season. Needless to say, all copies were quite hastily recalled. Easy mistake to make, i suppose as both play in Claret and Blue. That's the excuse Cameron should've used when getting the Hammers mixed up with the Villains.
Behave yourself, giz, Charlie Austin, just like Danny Ings, will be playing n the Prem next season:-) Both are far too good for the Championship. I don't go on the Turf anymore - health reasons and not just a poorly wallet - but, earlier in the season, friends told me that Hull were the worst side to visit Burnley in years! So perhaps it would be fitting if they were to come down with us - if only for the guaranteed 6 points we'll pick up against them:-)
