Is there going to be an Answerbank Fantasy Football League competition this coming season.
Sky Sports have now opened their free on-line competition - season starts August 8th

I've taken the liberty of starting the FF League for us this season - I hope that's ok & I've not trodden on anyone's toes by doing so.

As far as I can see, you need to create your team first then join the league, which is called "Answerbank" & the PIN you need to join it is -

Great... I have just joined, hopefully others will soon follow.

I naively tried to call my team canal surfers, and it was flagged up as inappropriate, took me a while to see why.

We're up to 8 teams now, slow but sure, let's hope to see more teams joining as kick-off approaches.

The following link can be useful (though as they say, not necessarily definitive) to check for injuries and suspensions prior to game days, allowing transfers to be made before you find out after the event that your star striker didn't play because he chipped a toenail in training!

I was only going enter myself and get my name on the board just do the random thing... ended up sorting them out correctly... 'I'm not having him, he can go as well, and not having that rubber johhny etc.'
As you do...still need tweaking closer to Kick-off.
...erm maybe.

My team is still a randomly-generated one & I've been juggling transfers on paper so far - it's amazing how far £75m doesn't go...

Something else has occurred to me - if anyone wants to "hide" their team selection from the other League members, here's how you do it -

When you have your team on the screen, above it to the left is a dark grey box with your team name & a drop-down arrow to the right of the box.

Click the arrow & you'll see "padlock" & "world" graphics. Click the "padlock" to be private or the "world" (this is the default) to allow others to see your team.

Unlimited team changes up to the kick-off of the first Barclays Premier League match on Saturday 8th August. Up to 40 transfers during the season.
No restrictions on how many transfers you can use per month.

Some of those yet to make their mark in the Prem are quite expensive to purchase. Perhaps better off with the tried and tested.
