Mr Allardyce has a reputation for coming in and rescuing doomed clubs, maybe he can do it again here.

As for Nathan Jones, he appears to be one of those managers whose skill is actually talking a good game in the interview, rather than getting players to play a good game on the pitch.

He did it here at Stoke, and again down in Southampton.

Hopefully the penny will have dropped for potential future employers.

Unfortunately Big Sam didn't manage to stop my club being relegated, although he nearly did.
That's a big recent blot on his CV.
