If they tried to apply every key's function to what appears on it, the Tab, Ctrl and Backspace keys wouldn't have much written on them.

Maybe I didn't word that very well. What I was meaning was maybe it would be sensible to have it all in capital letters instead of just a capital C and L

I feel left out. Mine doesn't have any writing on it at all. It's just s reflection of the shift arrow. :(

if you type everything in capitals it looks like you're shouting. perhaps that's why many of the computer companies decided against it.

spacechimp my tab and backspace dont have anything written on them anyway, just symbols to show what they do, as do the enter and shift keys

Even my spacebar has spacebar written on it, but not in capitals :)

Aye, same for all of mine. But the arrow on the caps lock key doesn't represent what it does. The boffins at Fujitsu-Siemens have overstepped the mark in their attempts to replace language with a crude series of pictograms.
