by car to Sweden

Hello, I wonder if anyone could tell me a good way to drive from England to Sweden ? perhaps using a freight ship for the bulk of the journey, basically I need to get my car from Dorset to Gothenburg area but don't have a clue how to go about it !! many thanks

there's no car ferry direct to sweden any more, but you can sail from harwich to esbjerg in denmark with dfds, http://www.dfdsseaways.co.uk/
then drive across denmark and across the bridge to malmo, then from there to gothenburg.

You can get to Gothenburg from Immingham/Tilbury:

Or just drive from a channel port - probably quicker and maybe cheaper
