Yep. Court have ruled against Hicks and gillett, meaning takeover talks can start in earnest..........shame, they were doing such a good job

The High Court Judge has ruled against Hicks and Gillette and ruled in favour of The Royal Bank of Scotland and the current Liverpool Board headed by Martin Broughton.
The verdict may be subject to appeal.

fingers crossed for a good result then, and hopefully new owners that will take the club upwards, very sad to see how it is at the moment.

The 2 Yanks have now got a temporary injunction from a Texas state court blocking the sale until at least 25th October, and while this doesn't affect Liverpool directly it does affect those involved in the sale i.e. RBS Martin Broughton, and NESV ,who would all be in contempt of court should the sale go through.

It's all very messy again.

Forgot to add that H&G are calling the proposed sale "an epic swindle" and are claiming damages of $1.2 billion.

Court in Texas has now blocked the sale....
so sale can't proceed....looks like if they can't keep the club they intend to wreck it completely
