not questioning your game clarion, I have an interest in this sort of stuff :)

where I play a lot of the club players struggle to get par let alone a birdie, these guys like to do a lot of boasting about their game before the tee off!

On a nice day 44 is always going to be the score to hit for any chance of a taste of the spoils, but yes, very annoying to lose a shot with no reward.
