Wet and cold out there today unless you are in Dubai. Some very good racing at Meydan with prize money off the scale. You can be sure they are all trying and I may have a look later. All the big players have gone out there with 5 x group 1, and 3 x group 2 races to be run. I have put together a little punt closer to home for now.

Afternoon, Togo, and what a brilliant day it has already been for yours truly. Put a £10 football acca on before retiring last night, Australia, China and Japan (oh, the magic of the internet) and all 7 came in @ the very rewarding odds of just under 36/1 :-) :-) :-) Then, reinvested a tenner on 3-1 to Melbourne Victory (for whom ex Claret Besart Berisha plays) @ 11/1, and they duly obliged. So, whatever happens today cannot possibly wipe this smile off my face. Though a defeat for The Clarets would cause it to narrow a little. As usual, the bets were posted on the OLBG website, of which i am now a participant, if anyone wishes to check the validity of my claim :-/

So, onto to today's racing and i've done a little Robin on 3 of ex-champ Paul Hanagan's rides Luis Vaz De Torres, Indomeno & American Gigolo, which could return about £340.

Nice one Ken. I like a little flutter, weekends, high days and holidays but would go barmy if I was having to look at chances all over the globe. As I said earlier I may have a little look at Meydan after the first couple of races are sorted.

Togo, some folk spend most of their leisure time watching daytime tv. I much prefer to study the footy and racing - wherever it is taking place. I very rarely watch tv until 9pm, so i regularly spend a good few hours with my nose in the form book, so to speak. I've just had another success with C Osaka (Japan J League) beating Shonan 2-1 @ 7/1 (again posted prior to kick off on the OLBG website). And the primary reason i selected that scoreline is because Osaka had won 4 of their last 5 home games v Shonan by 2-1! And i wouldn't have known that but for the internet.
