My ambition mirrors yours, Togo. As you say, so so racing but that's only to be expected given what will be taking place next week. Can't wait and i've been swotting up on the stats for all the televised races for the 3 day meet.

Looking at the stats involving Dalgleish and Bewley - 75% strike rate at Kelso with 3/4 - i had to concede that i fancied his other runner more. So i've done a little rev f/c with Taxmeifyoucan and Mirsaale in the 2.25.

With the Hunaina win single, i just about broke even. Hoping for better from today's football. UTC.

No cigar here Ken, but I will be keeping an eye on La Figlia for later in the season. She didn't seem to act on the surface and looks like one that will go well when her hooves rattle. Plus, Jumira Bridge finished like a train after Crowley had lost yards to Buick at the break. Took 4 furlongs to get handy after. Another to look out for.

The football provided me with a win bet or two but the main one was my 'usual' 2-1 bet on The Clarets. Got 12/1 again. They'll never learn, these bookies :-)
