Lovely day up here again and the weekend sport is back to some sort of normality. Great days racing at Ascot but hardly inviting if you are a small time punter. I cannot see a great deal of value as most of the races look to be one or two horse races. I could of course be wrong. :)) In view of this I have had a look elsewhere and tried a bit of e/w thievery.

1.25pm. Cypress Creek. 50/1

You need big odds when you're only betting 50p e/w! All my horses have done well being placed in their previous races so fingers crossed for a couple of small wins to cover the £6 I've splashed out.

Afternoon all. As you point out, Togo, there looks to be very little value at Ascot but, as 6 of the ITV7 races are there (t'other 3.30 Cat), i've had a pop at the following 4 who should all appreciate the underfoot conditions (he says, hopefully);

3.30 Cat; Evergate @ 10/1
4.30 Asc; Safe Voyage @ 13/2 (£5 win)

Taken reduced prices for e.w. purposes. 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = approx £45, 4 winners = approx £4,362.

Also done the Gosden acc - would be kicking myself if i didn't and he did.

Thought i had a spare £2 left in my Betfred account, but it was £3 so that's gone on the Gosden 4 for a poss return of £100.23p. Also, surprisingly got 9/1 with Skybet for my £5 win on Safe Voyage.
