Well the year draws to a close so a nice finish would be handy. Not to much to get excited about today, small fields again despite the top prize money on offer. I note that the entrants for the 2.25@Newbury were so low that the handicapper has allowed Reikers Island( actually invited the entrant) into a field set for horses rated 0 - 135 despite him being rated 137. Carries a big weight but class always tells, so I have gone with it. All the runners are at Newbury today.
