Strictly Come Dancing
Folks
Sad, I know, but I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks ....
Does anyone else think this so-called dance competition is decending into farce when members of the public are voting for their 'favourites' and not because of their dance skills ....
To me, this even goes back a couple of series when Colin Jackson was robbed by a cricketer who was comparable on the dance floor to a bear with clogs on compared to Jackson .... his success was apparently due to the success of the England cricket team because it certainly wasn't because he could dance ....!!
Is it perhaps time to scrap it, remove the public vote for all dancers and allow it for only the bottom say 4 as voted by the REAL experts ...? Think not .... how much would the BBC lose then in revenue from the phone calls ??!!
Also, can anyone else explain to me the reasoning behind Tess Daly being a co-host .... she can't dance, she ain't the best presenter and she seems to think some of the contestants were dancing something called a Solsa on Saturday .... even the judges and dancers called it a Salsa ???!!!!!

It seems ludicrous to me that people can vote during the week, before any of the couples have danced. Voting should be confined to a small window of time AFTER the dances have taken place, which might be fairer, and the judges should have the final say on, as you say, the lowest 4. The only other thing which I find strange - Len is given a casting vote, but how can this be? A casting vote should only be given when two sides are equal and another is required to decide the outcome. With only 3 other judges, there can never be a stalemate!
