Whilst playing a game of snooker the other night I made a break of 8 (I'm good me!) although I did pot the yellow ball 4 times in ths break! How?

Never managed to get past the mid thirties, had to rely on being cagey. Not played for ages in actual fact.
I once had a break of 43, but that was many years ago.
I've had an 88 , missed the easy blue of it's spot to get ont the pink. That was my chance of a century :0(
We had a snooker table in work but even with all the practice I had I couldn't get one that high.

You received a freeball on the last red. You nominated the yellow, potted it, then
took the yellow as your colour. You then potted the last red, took the yellow as your colour again, and then potted the yellow again as the first of the six
colours. This gives you 1+2+1+2+2=8 points, and you have potted the yellow four times.
