Brighton have got Doncaster at home.

The season starts SO early, doesn't it.

Our first game is on August 6th.

The 2011 / 2012 football season has already started !!.

Last Tuesday (28th June) the first two games of the Champions League took place, the First Qualifying Round, with teams from San Marino, Malta, Andorra and Luxembourg.

And last Thursday night (30th June) about 27 games from the Europa League took place, with Fulham being one of the teams involved. Again the first qualifying round.

VHG ... I can't cope with football this early in the season. It's still the athletics season, Wimbledon is not quite over, and there are several polo dates at Windsor Great Park. Even August is a bit early, tbh.

JN ... the new stadium is stunning ... absolutely stunning. I've always said that I will actually miss crappy little Withdean, and Withdean will always have a place in my heart. But the new stadium (with the name TOO AWFUL to type!) is totally gorgeous. How cool are those seagulls on the seats !!!
