escort service - and before maidup jumps all over me, let me explain.

Assuming that you have a decent house that has been cleaned up, a pick-up service at the airport, bed, breakfast and possibly dinner, running them in and out to the stadium.....and eventually out. A personalised service for which they pay a substantial premium and you could price up to...

Doing what? If you live near London, people will pay to come and live in your house during the event.
Win a gold medal, and eBay it ?

Yes, I thought about doing a 'house swap' but have house pets and not a good idea, I could do a B&B but have no idea where i could advertise this?
Win the 100 metres and endorse loads of products!
I don't know if there's a link on the Olympics website, where people can advertise?

BTW...I am no athlete!
Where are you Marie? How many spare rooms do you have? What about garden, any outside space at all?

I'm thinking B&B, parking, camping etc.

I think people will assume all hotels are full and expensive so you might be popular with people coming from within UK who happy to stay with a family.

@MaidUp, yes I was thinking along those lines, i'm very close to railway which would take them 25mins to Stratford, is Gumtree a good place to advertise? Can;t see anything on the Olympics website apart from a Visitbritain site and i'm not sure I'd qualify, as you say, just a fancied doing B&B!

A personalised service for which they pay a substantial premium and you could price up to and just under a good hotel but the service element gives you the differentiation.

Targets perhaps the foreign journo/tv services but you would need to get writing to them pronto - I would title it to the Olympic Programme Director and take it from there.
Go for it Marie, but have a good google round. I saw an article about B&B sites and camping in people's gardens.

Try searching for B&B london olympics see what you find.
I wouldn't bother............by the time you've made sure the facilities are up to scratch, hired a cleaner, taken out extra insurance, and paid the income tax it won't be worth it.

Oh thats great!! but, again, where do I direct my services?

Wow, just found a site http://www.rentduring...2012-olympics/list/17
People are charging a small fortune per week for B&B, and it's free to advertise!!
