A 10 point deduction would all but hand the SPL title to Celtic.

If they survive, can Rangers still be one of the dominant forces in Scotland or will a loss of star players mean that Celtic have a stranglehold on the league up there for the foreseeable future?

Sad to see such a great and famous Club on the verge of Administration.
Not sure what the long term implications are for Rangers but they are a very big Club with a large Fan Base, a smaller Club would probably fold completely.

Apparently Portsmouth are going into Administration as well for the 2nd time !! Another famous Club in the doldrums...
I don't think that Rangers or Portsmouth will be the last either.
Not a lover of the mighty Glasgow Rangers, but their fans must be devastated about this news. Dundee FC went through this and have been struggling ever since.
LOL, i think that maggie is probably green and white.
No way tonyav, dark blue of the mighty Dundee FC through and through!

Maybe the owners will try to re-locate the club so that it can be part of the English football league where they would have more chance of making money.

Or is that suggestion too outlandish?
Massive celtic fan - haha

Jim white looks like he is going to start crying!!!!!!! X
Sorry about that maggie, but i thought there are only two clubs in bonny Scotland.
Rangers need to bring back Gazza as financial guru ...
But seriously with their fan-base there could be a case for supporters takeover - organising it effectively and dealing with the debt would be huge issues tho'

A-legs Salmon will bail them out of the Bankruptcy Court being a Scottish asset - shame he hadn't contributed on RBS or the BoS - or even the Dunfermiline Building Soc.
