MM and KM Links July 2012 Week [4]

I'll be brief tonight as most of you will probably be watching the Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Never mind the Olympics, we are entering the last phase of the Links Games this weekend.

Both start tomorrow morning in the Q & P section. The aim is to match pre-chosen pairings of words. Each pairing makes either a new word or a well known phrase.

The KM Game (based on the DT GK Crosswords) kicks off early but there is no need to rush to play there. The points remain the same until midnight Sunday.

The MM game is being set for the final time this month by rockfordill. His challenge words will appear at 9am sharp with an introduction 15 minutes earlier.
Players are advised to play early as bonus points only last for two minutes after each link is discovered. game ends at 7pm Sunday.

As for the shrubbery, I abandoned it today and went round a local nature reserve looking for photographs. Not much going on but I got a few of young robins along with some great tits and chaffinches. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gen2/7657831162/ I also managed . . .

Sorry, I haven't time to type any more so I'll just have to post this as it is, finished or not.
Oh, Advance warning that Sunday's results may be a little delayed as we are dining with our next door+1 neighbours on Sunday. I hope that doesn't make it harder to contact whoever the new setter might be.
