why do the english media always bump up any sports event.they expect that anything that england participate in,they are going to win.with the olympics, they have got the gb team winning loads of medals.they expect it. i have watched the games and i'm afraid there are far superior athletes etc taking part.they only put pressure on the participents.a bunch of wanchors.

Of course they do, if you can't bump up your national team, what can do you?

Pressure is what competition is all about.
Aim high and if you don't quite make it then you probably achieved as much as you could.
Pressure sorts out the best from the rest
The medal expectations are based on form and the only disappointment so far in that respect has been the men's cycling road race where the team got their tactics wrong, leaving themselves with no chance of a podium place.
i have watched the games

Bloody hell..... have they finished already?
