FAO Sloopy (Elemental Odes Part 3)

Sloopy. here we are, "Fire".
To close the series, I have written one more - if it is factually correct - but I think we both should be on line for that....think that you will like it though.
So...............
"Fire"
The Humber silent and still
flowing ever on and on, in motion.
Until it changes.
The one old Lincoln beech in Autumn.
changes shape and sheds it leaves.
Until Spring returns.
The winds whistle down from Siberia
across the barren plain.
Two heavy branches come crashing down.
The sound of the logging chain saw winter work for the muscled jacks.
Seasoned wood in the making.
Wood for the fire on the Humber riverbank, natural fuel keeping sloopy’s crew snug as they clean Phyllis’s hull The kettle whistling on the grill.
The unending orange ash and yellow flame.
the fire is warm and burns with life.
Until it is quenched.
The water is gone, the tea drunk
the fire has been extinguished.
The tree still stands, alone.
