terrible game littered with mistakes galore....the Welsh defence was sound mind you....and that pitch has allways been crap - it was built on an old Gaz de France gas depot and is heavily polluted - the grass has to be returfed every six months as it turns yellow with the methane in the soil.....they can't lay a heating system down or they would have a major fire when they turned it on. I jest not.

Ok, never a game for the purists and given the opening matches of both the order of the day was always going to be defence, defence, defence.
Both sides probed but none looked capable until a flash of brilliance from Bigger and pure genius by North saw us take the lead late on.
Ryan was immense and deserved the MOTM accolade IMHO but it went to Halfpenny. Neither put a foot wrong all afternoon though.
France were frankly shocking and it's a shame for Saint Andre as he is a nice guy but could be facing la guillotine sooner than he thinks at this rate.
