I cannot find information on Jeeves about a friendly game played between London Irish and Cambridge in December 1925: I need only the date it was played and the score. Can anyone help me, please?

I'm having trouble too! Best I can suggest is contacting London Irish RFC and asking their archivist to help you. He or she will surely have it. Not sure whether Cambridge University have such a rugby archivist .

btw , I'm confused by Association. The reason why soccer is called soccer is that the university types who codified the rules called it Association football, to distinguish from Rugby football and other variants played at schools; soccer is formed as a typical play on asSOCiation, just as rugger is from RUGby.
