Sky No Longer Showing Premier League Fixtures Next Season.

Hello all.

So, Sky will no longer be showing Premier League fixtures from next season as BT have won the rights to show it.

I am a Sky Sports customer, so will I have to leave Sky and join BT to watch the games or will Sky be buying and showing PL fixtures from BT allowing me to stay with Sky?

Get them off the web for free and transfer them to your TV with a HDMI cable (assuming that you have HDMI connectors on your computer and TV).

Not true at all! BT are showing 38 PL fixtures per season from 2013-16. Sky will still have the majority of live games (at least until the next round of rights). BT have Champions League exclusivity from the 2015-16 season.

You can still subscribe to BT Sport and watch it through your Sky box.

I do watch some games for free on my Mac but I don't have HDMI connecters for the TV hook up.

I don't want to subscribe to BT through Sky.

Who provides your internet coverage? Im with BT and dont have sky Tv (if they show the footie on bt i can watch on my PC and have phone and internet to boot

I used to watch via the free channels but they became really buggy and in an attempt to close some of them down, massive ads and error messages were dumped on repeat by the regulators making it difficult to even close my laptop down. I recommend extreme caution in using them now.

DrF - I believe they are live only. I haven't seen anywhere that they are repeated or on catch up.
