I wasn't there (ashamed) but Brighton almost beat Hull last night. Late equaliser, apparently.

So now there's a replay ... in Hull.

I feel as though I should go and shout for the Gulls.

Google Maps says 4.5 hours.

Can you really drive from Brighton to Hull in 4.5 hours?

It can take two or three hours to get to the top of the M25!

bearing in mind you may not get served at the ground, befoerhand, you could nip to the Silver Cod on Anlaby Road, sink a couple with the quiet locals while telling them what a decent chap Mr Allam is and how the name change to Hull Tigers is a brilliant idea

..and take it from there really

Thanks, sloopy

I didn't actually know where it was.

So that's Hull's ground, I suppose?

Hull City F.C. were always known as the tigers so its good to see the name used. My Dad came from Hull and supported them.

I wasn't planning a tour of Eastern England.

I thought I might go and give the Seagulls a bit of support.
I went to Hull once. It was closed (or at least I think it was - I couldn't really tell).

It is 276 miles from Brighton to Hull. To do that distance in 4.5 hours you would have to average a highly improbable 60mph.

I'm not one to provide advice on this particular issue because I would not go to Hull for any reason and would not travel 100 yards - let alone 276 miles - to see a football match. But I'd give it a miss if I were you.
Humbersloop, he brings his car here for the week of Hull Fair, we are 14 miles away.
