Is it true that there is to be a cup final tomorrow in Glasgow? Dundee versus St Johnstone? I wish saints well. I hope that everybody who attends the match has fun....... especially my wee pal Hamish and his buddy. X

St Johnstone (the Saints) vs Dundee United (The Arabs). Being held at Celtic Park in Glasgow because Hampden is being tarted up for the Commonwealth Games. I'll be cheering for the Saints because my dad was a lifelong supporter and I dinnae like the Arabs. Passed through Perth yesterday and all the trees at the Broxden Roundabout had a St Johnstone scarf tied to it!!

I am not even a football fan but it is such an achievement for our team. They did good - that's a football phrase I believe.

Wolf63 - they did indeed do good. Better than that even, they were BRILLIANT! Perth is the place to be tonight!

We are not a football family but Hamish (8) has started playing at school in Nottingham and loves all things Scottish.

So he took his dad to the match and I bet he is one excited little boy now.

I live in the city centre and it is dead quiet, no doubt in a couple of hours there will be much drunken singing going on.
