Here is how Day 5 is looking so far ...

Samoa 46-39 Singapore

Trinidad and Tobago 66-39 Zambia

South Africa 68-40 Wales (boo, hiss, etc ...)

Malawi 59-53 Uganda

Sri Lanka 31-77 Fiji

In the meantime, playing now ...

Barbados v Scotland

I said yesterday that Scotland had a reasonable chance in this game and ... at the moment (keep fingers crossed) they are leading 29-27

Still to come, the two HUGE games of the day ...

New Zealand v Jamaica
Australia v England

Huge because those are the top 4 ranked teams in the world.

Oop, Barbados just scored. 29-28 ... Come on, Scotland !!!

How long does this go on for, Jayne?

Are there many people in the audience? There are not too many takers here on AB. You must be missing a lot of the action because you seem to be posting after every goal (or home run, or try or whatever they call scoring in netball).

Well, the final is on Sunday.

One should not be deterred by the size, or lack, of response. Otherwise, on that principle, book shops would only sell trash like Fifty Shades of Grey, and things like Alice in Wonderland and Three Men in a Boat, and the biography of Hector Berlioz would go out of print.
NJ I often forget to click onto sport because I have limited broadband access and it's usually about football (a NO, NO, NO to me). I'm catching up with netball and very much appreciate J J's contributions as I don't have Sky Sports.

Terrestrial TV isn't even giving highlights of the women's cricket, I've been listening on crackly radio and a very good match it is. As a mother of athletic daughters, I got cheesed off with the media's refusal to recognise achievement. One of mine was UK champion pentathlete and I had to fight to get a mention in the local paper ( a friend who worked there told me how the male sports reporters had grumbled about having to make space by pulling bits of reports about local footy).
You're quite right, jourdain. Take football out of the sports pages and there's nothing left. Throughtout the summer, even when there was no football being played almost anywhere in Europe, the sports pages were still full of football related drivel.
