Netball Scoring

I was at a quiz last night and there was a disagreement with the answer. The question was, if a player scores from the halfway line in netball, how many points do they get. The answer, if I remember correctly was three. The disagreement came when someone said you can only score when in the semi-circle.
So, who is correct?

someone into six foot amazons and watching it is like watching paint dry....two internationals in the family and playing it well does not add much to the game. static basketball IMO.

Netball is a great game to watch, the players must be very physically fit. This is a very good thread by the way, and very funny as well.

I used to go out with an England international netball player. She was 6' tall, so house bricks were not required ;-)
