The golden rule is never put a score or result in the opener of the post.
Great game Mikey. "She who must be obeyed" has just started to speak to me again. I am doing a roast chicken lunch and I think she is hungry.

Mamy...noted !

I notice the Welsh women did even worse ! It was a cricket score, not a rugby score !
The under 20s also got beaten just down the road from here, full house and mad in the village all night.
Mikey, I didn't have an attack of the vapours when you posted yesterday. I just felt it was very inconsiderate, and unnecessary, to include the result in your title. I don't even like rugby, by the way!

Never....this is meant as tongue in cheek, so please don't take offence !

I was so excited after the match, that I forgot the AB etiquette for a moment. I promise not to do it again !

As a boy who arrived in Wales, from England, when he was 15 and sent to a rough school. I used to get beaten up every Monday after Wales had won, and I developed a unhealthy aversion to the game with immediate effect.

But I can't help and enjoy it when Wales loses against England !
SPOILER ALERT
(Although it's probably too late for one now)

Well, what a win. I didn't watch the match but I looked at the score one time. England were way down, so I didn't think they had a chance and didn't bother looking again.
I only know the result because of this thread.

I try to do my best Jo !
England are getting good at pulling matches out of the fire, even when coming from behind. Wales, as they have been doing for some years, run out of steam after 70 minutes.
You can mention the score.
England was fortunate to be ahead at the final whistle: but a win is a win.
The last try was pure hard work and skill. How does luck or fortune come into that. We missed 5 points through bad kicking.

Wales, the underdogs, again.

;o)
And the hard work paying off in the final minutes was good fortune. They'd not played like winners much of the game.
I thought it was a very even match and was a great game to watch - we were really on the edge of the seats but I don't know if I would say the best team won, more the luckiest at the end?
OG 'Old_Geezer And the hard work paying off in the final minutes was good fortune'

It's either one or t'other sunshine.
As ever, when we lose to England I'm devastated and inconsolable.
There there Chill. You have a couple of pints of Brains on me boy. There's lovely. Isnnit.
Chilli...cheer up, Wales did their country credit and were the better side....they seemed more "up for it".
Both packs were "brutal".
Now for God's sake, why did Biggar kick down field? Either make sure it goes into touch OR keep possession.
Thanks Sqad, sadly that's cold comfort when all that matters is the result. I just KNEW Cubert was going to slip off that tackle.....
As for Biggar, I had expected a number 10 to have made the full length of the field. Interception? At home? Against England?? It was set up for a fairytale. Never mind, always next year!
