No-one is saying that the match isn't to be discussed - that's always part of the fun after any major event. But it's not too difficult to keep it off the title, first few lines of a post. It's been done before, for football, tennis, everything.
and this is the first place folk visit after they have chosen not to watch a live ? my gawd ..you are a member here you know what to expect..end of the world isn't it..what sad lives you must have !
the winner of Wobblybum men's singles was me....Anderson was condemned to my oven mid afternoon. Now for some healthy, fresh biltong, straight from SW19 - and green salad.
I was very busy (day after my holiday) with domestic stuff - and settled down to watch the match about 4:45 - watching a recording 'as live' and skipping half time, so I was by 6pm (when this thread started) at an interesting point in the second half.
I profoundly wish I hadn't clicked on the 'you have an answer' email and hence had my fun spoiled - but Site Rules (and the very explicit statements from the current and previous Eds) should have protected me.
I have a very nice life, thanks MM - and it is very 'real' - just a tad less enjoyable this afternoon than it might have been (albeit in a relatively insignificant, if irritating, way)
