Once again the usual suspects gather and i've hopefully chosen 6 players who will keep me interested until the final putt on Sunday. To be totally honest, i haven't really had the time to study in depth - bit of a downer when work interferes with the punting - but i am aware that Koepka (reigning Champ) is in the form of his life and Johnson likes Pebble Beach. As per i've staked a total of £20 and have used my Bet 365 account as they are paying on 8 places.

£2.50 win on Dustin Johnson @ 8/1
£2.50 win on Brooks Koepka @ 9/1
£2 each way on Justin Rose @ 28/1
£2 each way on Jason Day @ 33/1
£2 each way on Francesco Molinari @ 40/1
£1.50 each way on Phil Mickleson @ 55/1

Ken, many thanks for reminding me about this.I nearly forgot!

I love the golf majors. You are right, Koepka can't be overlooked with his astonishing form in the big tournaments!

Good luck!
Morning all. This time last year I sat outside watching the US open wearing shorts, flip flops and a t shirt. Would need a wet suit and a mug of cocoa if I tried that today. It has rained non stop for 26 hours. Just had my little punt on 5 in the hope that I have someone to cheer home on Sunday. Just a £1.00 win on each. I have not even bothered with the E/W.
Schauffele @ 28/1. Fleetwood @35/1. Rose @28/1. Molinari @40/1. Snedeker @50/1.

ag; No-one has won 3 US Open titles on the spin since Willie Anderson in 1903-04-05. On that stat alone, he should really be a bigger price but the bookies are a tight-fisted bunch of Blackburn fans (or what we Clarets fans call them).:-)
Togo, no each way? Just hope they don't all tie for 2nd, mate :-))
£5e/w on Jordan Spieth. 16-1.

Well Ken, it can be done. He tees off within the hour!

A lively start with a very bunched up leaderboard!
Second day. Not a bad start, except for Snedeker.... If it came to that scenario Ken I have the cash out option. The bet was laid as 5 separate "slips" so that the algorithms cannot lump the punt together. If, for example I had 3 tied for the lead on the last day the combined cash out would likely be more than the payout for the winner. Just have to be patient.
A nice open contest now with plenty in with chances.

Ken, fingers crossed for Rose @ 28/1 !

Ta, ag. Heading into the final day's play and i am hoping that Rose's experience in winning big trophies will see him overhaul Woodward who must have surprised even himself this week. Of course, this could well be the American's 'break-through' tournament but Justin Rose's one blip came on Friday with his round of 70. And with reigning Champ Bruce Koepka breathing down their necks, both will have to play excellent golf.
Not something i've ever done before but, having had a bit of luck on last night's Irish Lottery (£90 back for 2 numbers), i've done a little £5 acca in the 'Round 4 - 2 balls' coupon. I couldn't make up my mind who would have the better round between Dustin Johnson and Brandon Wu. They have both carded scores of 71-69-71 so i've gone for the tie @ 15/2, boosting the acca to a very tasty (or it will be if it obliges) 389/1. The other players in my bet are; CANTLAY v Matsuyama, MOLINARI v Piercy, SCHAUFFELE v Scott, McILROY v Oosthuizen, KUCHAR v Hadley, KOEPKA v Reavie and ROSE v Woodland. Would be a very nice Father's Day if my bank account is swollen to the tune of £1,951:-)
Well good luck Ken.

Rose has a great chance but Koepka, if he starts well, could really turn on the heat.

I think the current leader will slip up.
Watch out! Koepka is coming!!

And shortly after you posted, ag his game went to pot (as opposed to putt) :-)
And it looks as if Woodland isn't in the mood to let his lead slip. Still, plenty of time, yet. Too many holes to play for me to watch it all - early start tomorrow - so i'll have to catch up in the morning.

Well, i've caught up which is more than i can say for either Koepka or Rose (whose game bombed dramatically over the back 9):-/ Well done to Woodland for holding his nerve with the World's top player on his tail throughout that last day. Could this be thee first of many for him, i wonder. Also, surely won't be much longer before Xander Schauffele is holding a major trophy in his hands. Anyhow, £13 back for Rose's tied 3rd place so the loss of £7 is more than bearable. Just means that one of the kids will have to miss out on tea tonight :-))
Yes, Ken, I thought the hat-trick was on at one point!

Full marks to Woodland for more than holding his nerve and finishing in style!

Most importantly, at least you tasted some success yourself!!
