Appalling Behaviour From The Bulgarian ‘Supporters’
Why don’t UEFA simply stop them from taking part in the tournament?

The only meaningful sanction will be bar Bulgaria from the qualifiers for the 2024 competition (As Ken said, not much point barring them from 2020 as they're out already out), but there's no way that will happen. Other than when the Liverpool fans caused the death of 32 Italians in Heysel, UEFA have form minor sanctions. Once the "thorough investigatio n" by...

The section of so called fans performing the Nazi salute had obviously only attended the game for one thing and that was to bait the black English players. And did anyone notice that they all appeared to be dressed almost identically? Almost a uniform of sorts. Lots of respect is due to the Bulgarian captain, Ivelin Popov. who was obviously remonstrating with some of their fans throughout the half time break. Their manager, on the other hand, is a complete disgrace, pretending he didn't hear the abuse. I wonder how their sole black player felt? Bulgaria ought to be kicked out of the next European tournament as they are already more or less out of this one.

Once the "thorough investigation" by EUFA has been completed, I suspect Bulgaria's next home game will be behind closed doors and they'll get fined a few thousand Euros.
Greg Clarke, in an interview, said (paraphrasing) they appeared to be making political gestures. For Funks Sake, it was obvious to everybody they were performing Nazi salutes, so why hell didn't he just say so?

FF, apparently they were ejected from the stadium, sadly not straight into the back of a police van.
The curious thing is that they seem to have been ejected by an independent security firm. Nobody seems to know who they were, or at least are admitting they know. It makes you wonder if the Bulgarian FA knew there was a neo-Nazi organisation infiltrating the crowd an planted the security as a result. Why they couldn't have simply stopped them from entering the stadium in the first place is anyone's guess.
