Does anyone remember

a childrens (illustrated) book (roughly mid 80s) about a boy who goes to Anfield, and somehow gets on the pitch, and is in the goal when Liverpool are about to take a penalty.

The little lad waves to his granddad, and in doing so deflects the ball over the crossbar.

From what I remember it was a short story.
