the ref has been suspended for an altercation with an ipswich player (and rightly so),but i havn't heard anything about why he reacted as he did..the player involved must have said something bad to him to get a reaction like that..why hasn't he been reprimanded.

It may not have been any one thing that Judge said to the referee. It may have been a culmination of snide remarks made throughout the game. Some players are in constant conversation with referees for the whole 90 minutes - we have one at Burnley in Ashley Barnes. I would hazard a guess that a large percentage of Barnes' yellows have arisen from talking when he should be listening.
