Women's Usa Open Golf 2021

Begins today and while i don't pretend to be as up to date with the women's game as i believe i am with the men's, it doesn't stop me from having a small punt based on what i have gleaned from a little studying.
The fav is Inbee Park and it would definitely not be a surprise were she to win. However, she has not won a Major since 2015 and the last 5 winners of this tournament have all done so for the first time.
My main hope is Jessica Korda who may be longer odds than her sister Nelly, but she is definitely the one on the up. She has 6 LGPA victories to her name and comes into this tournament on the back of 2nd and 3rd placed performances in her last 2 comps.
Patty Tavatanakit, at the tender age of 21, has already won a Major (the ANA Inspiration at the beginning of April) and has continued in good form since.
My outsider is Sophia Popov won the AIG Women's Open last August and was runner up in last week's LGPA Match Play in Las Vegas, beating both Inbee Park and Patty Tavatanakit on her way to the final.
If a Brit is to win, it could well be Mel Reid who won her first LGPA tournament last October and has played reasonably well ever since. Further improvement is on the cards and a possible top 7 finish is within her compass.
£1.50 e.w.; Jessica Korda @ 18/1 - 7 places
£1.50 e.w.; Patty Tavatanakit @ 20/1 - 7 places
£1 e.w; Sophia Popov @ 66/1 - 7 places
£1 e.w.; Mel Reid : 80/1 - 7 places
