A number of household jobs today from my MoT to some food shopping to keep going - the big shop tomorrow when I take on the Mater. Am going away next sunday, so need to start thinking about that - a chance to see friends in surrey and the warzone that they are living in - 3.5k trees executed and 4.5k to go all in the name of sorting out the junction of the M2/A3, the A3 down to Ripley. The RHs has said nae trees cut o'er here, so it's their side of the road that's been hit and they have ripped down a huge thick tranche of them that separated the road away from their hamlet and acted as a sound-barrier. My sister was up there about 2 months ago and said it was seriously awful.
And they go on about pulling down 100-200 trees in the centre of Plymouth - nothing said about the wanton destruction of 8000 of them!

I know I'm too late for early birdies but yesterday turned out warm and sunny all day. Managed to get quite a bit done in the garden thank goodness. All veg doing well so far and apple trees laden. I'm a happy bunny. Not sure what is on the cards for today but no doubt something will happen.
Keep safe and keep well.
