Jude Bellingham may be a good footballer but why on earth did he have to make an obscene gesture in front of millions of TV viewers. These footballers are supposed to be role models for our future young players and if that type of disgusting conduct is acceptable then we are in a sorry state.

The clip I saw of him didn't seem to show him grabbing his crotch but of a completely different act.  Didn't like his interview on Tv after the game either as he came over as I was the best player and I know it.  Seemed a quite unpleasant person.

I don't think it's excusable in any circumstances. Just because MJ was doing it years ago doesn't make it right does it? Thoughtless.

Calling for him to be banned is completely unacceptable. If he IS banned the whole team should pack their bags and come home NOW!

To claim it was an inside joke between him and his mate in the stands is ludicrous.  An inside joke is something that wouldn't be understood by those not in on it.

The gesture made it look like he was playing with himself and not just the once. Not grabbing at his crotch.  Either that or he was calling the crowd or someone else a W*****.  Not a nice look.
