It’s Christmas Eve! What Are We...

I can honestly say I'm stf with all this coverage. Look at it based on form.
Spain have won every game so far in this tournament, and against really strong teams.
England are unbeaten but unconvincing. On that basis, Spain have to be the strong favourites.
I want England to win but they need to improve greatly to beat Spain. I can't see it myself, based on what's happened so far.
And please cut all the gunge about "It's coming home". I don't think it is, but I hope I'm wrong.
"Probably because no-one gives a flying chuff about who wins the men's doubles at Wimbledon these days."
The two who won it were fairly chuffed. And the pair who lost seemed to be quite concerned s well. And it is unarguable that Wimbledon is the premier tennis event worldwide.
But the point is, this was an event that had actually taken place and was er... news (as in newspapers and TV news). Unlike the dross I described which is billed as the "build up" to a football match. This consists mainly of interviewing people who are drunk standing in the street swilling beer or reporters standing outside an empy football stadium eight hours before the kick off, pontificating on what England have to do to win (i.e. score more goals than their opponents).
