MM & KM Links December 2007 [Week 2]
96 Answers
This is the second week in the reign of Queen Kay and she now knows exactly what is expected of her when it comes to the launch of the MM link words tomorrow. I believe that she is well up for it and I fully expect things to go smoothly. I think that you'll enjoy her second set of link words.
Both Kay and I will be playing out tonight. Kay is on serious "baby"-sitting duty and it's my turn to set the CC Quiz. I have used an alphabetical theme, where the first answer starts with A, the second B, etc. The X, Y, Z part gets a bit tricky ~ but it's worked out Okay! It's not as difficult as finding "Double Deckers" for those same letters! BTW thanks are due to AB Ed for her continued support for Dragonfly II (especially at a time when even our motives are being questioned).
Once again, I expect early successes from the Shrubbery Squad. I still say that you should go with your gut instinct at this stage of the game! Anyone who reaches four points by Sunday evening should be well placed for the sprint to the line.
Remember that the site should be opened by Queen Kay at about 8.45 in the morning, and the MM Link Game should be officially launched by Queen Kay when she will set her four words to be linked at 9.00am.
The international version of this same game is called KM Links and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who provides the entertainment, refreshments and rule of law when dealing with that parallel game. In this case, the choice of words and their links are out of our control. They are set by Kate Mepham in her Crossword in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday and Monday!
