The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise? If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it. http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0, 22049,22535838-5012895,00.html?from=mostpop
I can make her spin both ways, does that mean I'm actually quite intelligent after all.....
I posted this a while back and was shocked that truthfully people only saw it going clockwise. As many times as I tried i could only get it turning clockwise, I don't have a very good logical brain though. I don't consider myself to be unintelligent but logical problems stump me.
I also was able to see the figure moving in both directions. But, I think there's a timer to the rotation which allows the model to spin anti-clockwise for a period then change rotation to the opposite direction after the time.
I've seen this before as well but it was about being left and right handed.
I am right handed but truely and honestly I can make her go both ways. My son who is left handed sees her going clockwise. H ehas trouble getting her to go the other way.
Maybe you remember this one from science class -
Rub your belly and top of your head at the same time for a some seconds. Then switch hands and rub in the opposite direction each hand was moving. See how well you do with this one LOL.
I have a theory about logical thinking having seen how House MD gets all his great ideas when his eyes gos out of focus as his mind takes over. I think he starts seeing with his brain rather than his eyes.
i think thats what happened when I saw it turning anticlockwise. I was not focusing on it with my eyes, but with my brain so saw it more logically.
