It was an English team in the final of the best club competition in the world, and you people are glad a Spanish team won (OK, I can accept scotman, as I assume he hails from north of the border with a hot bed of successful clubs in Europe!) but if the others are English its, well, a bit pathetic really.
I would support any English team, including Chelsea who as a rule I can't stand, if they reached the final of the Champions League. I'd even support a Scottish team. At least they're British.

I live in Spain and had to run the gauntlet of the Catalans at breakfast..............embarrasing for me.

If Man Utd were still playing, they woold still be looking for a goal.
Inesto and Xabi, passed ten yard passss quickly and accurately.
O'Shea, Giggs and particularly Carrick hit the typical 60yrd long cross ball which invariably went out of play.
Ronaldo tried, but his mates were just not up to the task.
Well done Barca, if you had won 5-0 it would have been justifiable.
Men and boys.

I think Barca deserve it for playing the game the way they do. United weren't in it after the first few minutes. Xavi and Iniesta were awesome, and Messi showed a few glimpses of why he should have been voted World Player of the Year. United are far from being a bad side (quite the opposite, in fact), but they were no match for the Catalans.
Well done, Barca.
