It would be really bad for team moral if both players were involved in the world cup. He's being the bigger man for the sake of his country.

More to it than just shaking hands, the England squad has its cliques and while most players would side with Bridge over what`s happened, they are also pally with JT and it would cause an atmosphere within.

Personally I think JT should have withdrawn from the squad when all this blew up.

Even tho JT has been dropped as captain, who`s to say he hasn`t been dropped from the squad...........watch this space

Bridge should play and hold his head up high - this is what he has worked for and probably dreamed of all his life, he and the dirty slapper had finished so no tarnish should come his way - Terry on the other hand should not - married! - kids! - other affairs! - crooked business with the club! - UNFORGIVABLE! - he obviously thought he was above reproach - His poor wife and kids what a plonker to put them through this scandal - same for Ashley Cole having been forgiven his first infidelity he must have thought Cheryl a sap - well now he's been caught too - and it turns out Ashley - she's not - she's strong well liked - she doesn't need you and she's is going to take you to the cleaners

i agree with elvis, JT problably shud opt out of the team. Hes the one who has caused all of this. Its unfair for wayne bridge to drop out of the team. If anyone is the victim in all of this its wayne bridge (& JT's missus)... all in all, a very embarresing situation for wayne bridge. BTW- im a man utd fan but they shud have picked Stevie Gerrard for the permenant captaincy over injury- prone Ferdinand. Gerrard is a much better leader, better behaviour record over both Terry & Ferdinand......
