Hmm ...

My post sounds a bit grumpy now.

It's just that, well ... I was so enjoying the clip ... I was wiping the tears out of my eyes ...

And just as my heart was swelling with admiration for Derek and his father, up pops the caption ...

Hey ... well that's what God is like!

And I was disappointed that the focus had been pulled away from the heroic lap completed by Derek and his dad.

But, even though "God" stole the glory from Derek and his dad, it was a brave and moving thing to have done.

=0)

I feel better now.

I might watch the clip again (now that I know where to stop watching when God pops up to hog the limelight).

jj i didnt mind the bit about God, i thought it quite fitting in the circumstances, but i can understand anyone who didnt.

Im with Jayne, there I am ,sat blubbing away, and up pops that toe curling message about God. It was fantastic up until that point. Thanks for posting it Jems, even though ive still got a lump in my throat, I'm a soppy git at times.
