Dris...maybe! maybe!
Question Author
the williams sisters, seem to have no problem winning finals when surrounded by their family at tournaments.
Maybe Murrays mam tags along cos he's still breastfed?

Bitty, bitty!
anne....we are talking about Murray...........not the William´s sisters who have had, as you rightly infer, an impact on their wins.

Girls and mothers.
Boys and mothers...may be a different relationship....that is all.
Sicko.......:) ^^
It's called humour dris

Try it sometime
Bottled it again, but the excuses will be ready - "Djokovic was world class" etc etc.
Yep, so's Murray, except when he reaches a grand slam final!
eyethankyou......Murray is world class.....he will win a major, but he does lack that "something " that would make him a world beater.

All suggestions so far has upset the "jocks"
He's just like Colin Montgomery, a bottler when faced with a potential major victory
JL -I could be one of the funniest people you could ever meet -pity you have me pigeon holed -my loss.Anyway i did think it was funny -hence the :) after my post.

He couldnt handle Djokovic -he was on fire ETU -strange one this -it doesnt appear that he was sensational just that Murray was dire.............now that does make me laugh :)
Not being a Scot I don't suppose my opinion counts. What I will say is, when he walks on court into a final his body language says I am not going to win this. I think it is his frame of mind that stops him winning, not his ability.
mm -course your opinion counts. It may surprise you but us Scots are major sports fans PLUS we are very self depricating as we are used to letting ourselves down -we just party on.Have to agree -when he lost the toss he lost the advantage and he knew it...he knows that guy inside out and vice versa so he knew what he was up against !!

Just an aside -we went to Amsterdam when Scotland got gubbed 6-0 by Holland.Best weekend of my life...much dossness, dancing on bars and in Dam Square at silly o' clock and dont even ask about my H tying his shoe laces together and doing a Laurel and Hardy and me directing the traffic around him as him and some of the Tartan Army tried to undo the mess lol.Can you imagine if we had won??
What he lacks is an attacking game. He runs round and round getting the ball back into play....he looked knackered today.
jules....his attacking game is his strength.............he wasn´t given the chance to show it today.
Dont think so he hasnt proffered an excuse -he himself (Andy Murray) in front of millions (millions of people around the world) said the best man won.
Now is it blood you want?

(you have an agenda jules -seriously its glaring lol)
he seemed to spend an awful lot of time yelling at himself, Dris. With reason, I suppose, but I wonder if he shouldn't be channelling his aggression into the tennis rather than beating himself up? He should already know what to do without having to keep reminding himself, and I suspect the shouting is distracting him further.
He will win a slam Dris.

Talking of Amsterdam me and Mrs MM had a brilliant weekend there. Went on overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam. the food on the ferry was 1st class. the cabins were small but comfortable. We had a blast in Amsterdam. Came home Sunday morning and needed 2 days to recover.
Murray did break one record - albeit not one he will look on fondly - after becoming the first man in the open era not to win a set in three grand slam final appearances.
yes.....this speaks volumes of the no hoper.
Squad, if you think he has an attacking game, you havnt watched much tennis. He is purely a defensive baseliner.
No Dris, no agenda, I just cant stand him, and whereas I used to watch a lot of tennis, he puts me off the game.
